How do I order a cake?

I need to know at least the following information:
• The date/time of your event.
• What kind of event it is (birthday, wedding, etc.).
• Your phone number and email address.
• If your picking up the cake or if I am delivering it.

The rest we can work out together. Other questions I like to know would be:
• Date/time you are picking up the cake.
• If I am delivering I need the address, phone, date/time, special instructions if any, etc.
• If you would like a consultation visit.
• If you would like to sample flavors.

How much do your cakes cost?

For wedding cakes, I have a one-of-a-kind calculator to help you figure how much it will cost. Try it HERE!
Because my cakes are unique and sometimes one-of-a-kind, I don't have a standard price list. I am more than happy to work within your event budget and encourage you to contact me so we can discuss details. If it is a cake I haven't done before and/or it is a custom design, plan on a minimum of $100 to start. Send me a picture, describe your idea and I will give you a great price.

When should I order my cake / What is your availability?

I prefer, at the very least, 1-2 weeks notice for any cake. Since I make all of my cakes fresh, I am usually not able to finish a creation within a few days. Please check out my up-to-date availability by looking at the calendar on my home page.

What is your payment policy?

For wedding cakes, a 20% non-refundable deposit and signed contract is required to reserve your order and event date; the remainder is due no later than two weeks prior to your event.
For all other cakes, payment will be arranged individually. Consultations are complimentary, but not required for all cake orders. If we do not recieve your deposit and signed contract your date may be become unavailable.

Do you deliver?

I can absolutely deliver. It may cost a bit extra depending on where you want me to deliver the cake to.

Where are you located?

I am located in Sandy near Alta View Hospital. I don't give out my address since my cakes are by appointment only.

Can you adjust for dietary needs?

The difficulty level of doing cakes with dietary needs involved can be quite great. The cost will definately increase but should be well worth it!

How do I pay?

I accept cash, check or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover). Other forms of payment, like Paypal, can be negotiated.

What cake flavors do you have?

I have over 65 flavors of cake in my repertoire. I am always looking to add to it so if you have a flavor in mind, don't be shy, let me see the recipie and I'll try it.

Do you have equipment rental (i.e. cake stands, cake cutting utensils, etc)?

I do have items that you can use if they are not being used by someone else at the time. You pay a deposit equal to the cost of the item being rented. After I get the undamaged item back, you will get the full amount refunded minus $10 as your rental fee.

Do you do cupcakes?

I do cupcakes! Because cupcakes are more demanding on my time I have a $50 minimum for any cupcake order.

Can you do a cake designed the way I want it?

Absolutely! I will create just about any cake that you can come up with. If it was drawn on paper, a picture or many pictures shown to me, or whatever, I will do my best to make your cake just the way you want it.
